Lane’s Bio:

Lane Heymont headshotLane Heymont was born in Pennsylvania. He has been a lifelong reader and writer. As a child, his grandfather would pay him $5 to read the best literature had to offer. Such titles included Ivanhoe, the Iliad, the Odyssey, A Tale of Two Cities, and more.

With a bachelor’s degree in psychology with focuses on business and literature, Lane continued his education in creative writing and literature, attending Harvard.

Serving as a Literary Assistant for the past two years at the Seymour Agency, Lane Heymont led the marketing efforts for their authors and enjoyed connecting clients with readers. 

Lane was promoted to junior agent in December of 2014 with the announcement following in January.

He belongs to a number of professional organizations including the Horror Writers Association, International Thriller Writers, Association of Authors’ Representatives, Romance Writers of America.

        Thanks, Colleen! Particularly fun was meeting a local Japanese-American born in Tokyo in 1938, full of first-grader memories of the late war. He provided a beta-read and some useful cultural and language references.
