The 365 Envelope Project

Happy New Year 2013As 2012 began winding down with a frenzy of rowdy neighbors and fireworks that rent through the darkened sky, changing it into a brilliant rainbow of colors, I was quietly handed the gift of a homemade DVD.

The DVD contained instructions for a project my daughters had painstakingly worked on for half the year. The project was 365 envelopes. Each envelope contained a letter from my daughters and was placed in a decorative box.  I was then given the 12 boxes.

As the last seconds of 2012 slid into non-existence, my 2013 was ushered in with an abundance of love and laughter. Now for each day of 2013, I get to open an envelope and read sweet, witty, encouraging things my daughters have written.

I am amazed and beyond blessed.
